Thomas A. Plein Endowed Scholarship

Thomas A. Plein, of Oshkosh, WI, established the Thomas A. Plein (TAP) Foundation Ltd. in the 1980s to advance his family’s philanthropic interests. The family owned 7-Up bottling plants in Oshkosh and other Midwest cities. In addition to helping the family business, Mr. Plein earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School and practiced law in Wisconsin for many years. Thomas’ nephew, Steven Plein and his wife, Kathleen ’97, were instrumental in facilitating the gift to Saint Leo University.
