Evin B. Hartsell Memorial Endowed Scholarship

For a full-time or part-time University Campus undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need as determined by a current and complete FAFSA. Student must be a Social Work or Psychology major. Preference should be given to the following: 1. a rising sophomore or later student that either has a disability or has a sibling with a disability, 2. a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, 3. a United States military veteran, 4.) a student in good academic standing with a least at 3.0 GPA. The scholarship will be awarded after the recipient has read Evin B. Hartsell’s book – Abled in a Disabled World – and completed a brief statement on what they learned. The scholarship is not renewable.
