Frank and Phyllis Mezzanini Endowed Scholarship
Selection Criteria:
- For a full or part-time student enrolled in the criminal justice master’s degree program;
- First preference given to the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer of the Year as identified at the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI) of Pasco County annual awards dinner;
- Student must be employed as a certified law enforcement officer, corrections officers, or dispatcher, who is trained as, and an active Crisis Intervention Officer;
- if recipient receives full tuition assistance from other sources a scholarship award of $1000 is to be used for degree related books and/or supplies;
- Second preference is given to a student enrolled full or part-time in the criminal justice master’s degree program; and,
- Student must have demonstrated financial need as determined by a current and complete Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
